The Mokhtarzada Hatchery hosts an annual kick-off event in the fall semester, while applications are open for our program. This event has engaging discussions with the Mokhtarzada brothers for students to learn more about what the Hatchery offers and how it can benefit student startups. This event is an opportunity to understand the Hatchery's mission and offerings and to discover how it can support student entrepreneurial aspirations.

Office Hours
Throughout the academic year, students with a startup idea and questions can sign up for a 15-minute, one-on-one in-person office hours appointment with the Mokhtarzada Hatchery mentors. During office hours, you will gain insights and personalized advice on starting or scaling your business directly from seasoned entrepreneurs.
Appointment slots are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Demo Day - Spring
Demo Day is an opportunity for the UMD community and other stakeholders to get to know the four student startups selected for the current academic year’s cohort of the Mokhtarzada Hatchery program. During this event, guests are invited to view the demos of each student startup and network with other members of the enterpreneurial community!
